Exams recently ended!! Been quite turbulent and very suay this exam period. All the topics I studied didn't come out, and the best (or worst) part is that for MR, none of the topics our lecturer told us to focus on came out. And for RP, sub topics came out even though we studied for the main topics. It's like you study for a whole chapter about "Fishes", which has the sub topics "Gills" (4 types), "Fins" (3 types), "Eyes"(3 types) and "Roe"(12 types) and an entire 100 mark question about "Gills"(give the details of 1 type of Gill) comes out.
Where got so much detail?? We barely remember all the points as it were. BLEAH. This isn't stringent or strict. It's stupid. Even if we remember the point and try to make the best of it by explaining the entire point, it's still only 1 point. Perhaps they're trying to increase the failure rate so that the degree will seem more prestigious. If we don't all drop out at once, that is.
Anyway.
Post Exam celebrations!!!
First on Saturday we went Vivo and ate dim sum at the empty Banquet food court (B2), and it was all quite good! Then we went to watch The Orphanage, which sucked and spoilt our day. Stupid Orphange. Between Baby and Me, we fell asleep a total of 5 times in total throughout the movie. Damn slow pace. Not suitable especially in the morning when you're still slightly groggy, or at night when you're slightly sleepy, or in the afternoon when you've eaten.
The best time to watch this is sometime around 10am, before breakfast and after you've had your shot of Morphine and/or Coccaine, whichever floats your boat.
Went then to walk around Vivo for the whole day, then went home to drink some sake and sleep.
Sunday... woke up at 3am to my parents quarrelling. Spent half the day talking to mom. Cooked veges. Went library. Not a good way to spend a weekend which should be spent celebrating the short freedom before I have to attend classes again.
Next week, SENTOSA! (I hope)
Here're some pix I took b4 my exams. Had to take a very long detour because a road was closed while doing a despatch.
